“I worked with Andrés and Persona Contemporary in my role at Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC). Andres put together multiple art shows through Persona that benefitted TIRRC, where he secured contributed pieces from artists and curated popular and well-attended exhibitions and shows that raised funds for our work and highlighted our mission. He also created a custom, commissioned piece of art that he designed with community input and constructed alongside leaders, taking into account all of our constraints and hopes for the piece.
